About Me --

I have been around and worked with horses all of my life. My grandfather was a farrier and I traveled with him for years as an apprentice. I learned the importance of watching, listening and talking to horses.  My wife and I raised APHA horses in Pilot Point, Texas for nearly 15 years and enjoyed every minute of it.  Now bringing my equine experience to my photography business. If you have looked through my vast portfolio you will see that action photography is something that I really enjoy. Whether it's flats and fences or Horsemanship and Reining I truly enjoying capturing Horse and rider in a moment in time to keep forever. 

The Story --

With me, the photo is all about the story, the emotion, the action. It's not just about the same old traditional pose or angle of the horse and rider, it's about things that would be important to the viewer - an inside look at the subject. It may be an equestrian event, reining horse photography or a rodeo coverage it's all still very exciting to me. There is a difference between a photographer and a equine photographer in that you really need some experience to know what make a great photo of that beautiful animal of yours.

Large Shows or events I will need to secure a media credential to be able to shoot your event. I am restricted to shoot only your event(s).

$300 per event -- Edited and uploaded to either Vimeo or YouTube
